wake up! WAKE UP!

Unlike Brady and Bebe, we do have jobs and are having the worst time waking up for them! Despite three alarms, we just can't seem to do it. I know it's because we're both exhausted and going to bed way too late for when we wake up (5:30 am). Any tips or tricks you can share to help us get our butts out of bed on time?

5:30 is inhuman! I'm nauseous getting up anytime before 7am. I get up 7:30; in bed before midnight, 1am at the latest. 5:30 is hardcore. I guess you have a long drive?

I'm a fan of having the alarm clock(s) on the far side of the room so that you have to get up and out of bed to turn if off. This way if you're out of the bed, it's easier to stay up.

5:30? Holy brutality!

Yeah, we've had to get up for work at 4:30 am before, so 5:30 isn't horrible.

Alan, My commute is 45 min to an hour depending on traffic. Way, way too long for my liking.

Costa, Unfortunately one of those three alarms is across the room. But alas, we've trained ourselves to sleep through it. :(

Thank goodness I can walk to work.

Sounds like your alarm needs to trigger some sorta mattress-ejector type contraption. Heh, now that would make a good lunchnote
;-)

What about the coffee maker? Is that one of them? My dad used to have to wake up at 430 as a postal worker and he would always set the coffee maker as a backup. Plus, then the house smells like awesome awesome coffee.

Ugg, I have to get up at 5:30 to drive for an hour too. No fun. I get myself out of bed by thinking about the really strong coffee I will get to drink on the way to work. Noting like an acute addiction to get you moving!
